You cover your nose to ward off the stench of rotting corpses that were piled along side the walls of the sewage passageway. There was so many bodies and the more you seen the more you thought to wonder if you would be joining the body pile up. “Don’t be afraid, we will save many more from dying” said a voice. You look to your side to find a tall man with a long pistol to his side. His hair was slicked back; he had intricate ear piercings with a beautiful ivory dress shirt that was tucked neatly under a navy blue vest with gorgeous golden patterns on his vest. His navy blue bottoms went well with his gold and bronze sandals. His name was Baltheir, one of many members of the resistance group known as team gratitude. His words help boost your confidence while lowering your fears of your demise. “Mobis, how much longer?” asked Balthier. Mobis-New-Nest, that name would be forever be engraved in your mind. It all began with a simple fave in a gallery that lead to a “Thank you for the fav’ that now spiraled into a quest, a quest to stop the evil dark lord I.R. Baboon, Dr. Nefarious and General Bane. “Two minuets” said Mobis who moved ahead of you and Baltheir. “I think I’m gonna throw up” you say. The smell had become to much for your stomach, even with covering your nose and breathing in and out of your mouth still didn't help. "Here chew on this, it will help with the nausea" said Baltheir. He hands you a piece of ginger root and you chew it without hesitation. The taste was bitter and burning but it was better then the smell of rotting death you were inhaling just moments ago. The nausea passes. "Thank you" you say to Baltheir and he gives you a wink and a smile. "We're here" said Mobis. All three of you stand in front of a vault door where Mobis goes near a side panel, he presses the button and says a aloud numbers. The vault door clicks and opens with a suction sound. On the other side a middle aged man with glasses and mustache awaited. He had a trench coach on with a police badge on the front. "I assumed you dead but it's dame good to see you" said the man with the badge. Him and Mobis exchanged a hand shake as so did Baltheir. "So this The Deviant huh? Doesn't look much like a chosen one" said the man with badge as he looks at you "HEY! I'm tough, I can fight, you wanna try me?" you say offended by his remark towards you. "Save the anger for the battlefield rookie, Gordan this is The Deviant and chosen one, this one is tougher then you think but right now we need all the help we can get, we're taking Bane head on" said Mobis "Then I'll get started on making your funeral arrangements" replied Gordan the man with the badge "Come again?" "You saw the bodies right? Those were descent living people once, men and woman who thought they can could make a difference by standing up and fighting and where are they now? Dead." "We can bring an end to all this" interjected Baltheir "You guys want to go on suicide mission then be my guest, right now I need to focus on one thing and that's keeping what men and woman I have left alive" "But for how long? You think you can hide forever? Look at you Gordan, you look like you haven't slept much and eaten much at all. How long before the food ration runs out? How long till Bane get's control of the water? If he can't get to you he will starve you out" said Mobis. "I can't help you" replied Gordan "Alright let's go" said Mobis "No wait! You said I don't look much like the chosen one huh? Well from here you don't look like much of a fighter. Next time look at yourself before looking down on others" you say to Gordan. All three of you leave and are silent while heading back to the Basteel as the hour of battle nearly approaches.
